Driftpile Cree Nation

Daycare and Head Start Program

Tansi’ and Good Day

I am Claudette Giroux, the proud supervisor of the Daycare and Head Start program here at Driftpile Cree Nation. Our programs are designed with the well-being and development of our youngest members in mind, offering nurturing care, educational activities, and a supportive community for children and their families.

Daycare Program

Our Daycare caters to children aged 1-3 years, operating from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily, with an early closure at 3:30 pm every second Friday. We offer drop-off care on a space-available basis for parents and guardians attending training, interviews, and conferences without any fee. For those not employed or on days off, fees will apply. We encourage interested families to contact the Daycare directly to inquire about availability due to our limited space.

Let's give our children the best start in life, together.
