Greetings! This is the Engagement and Event page for the Driftpile Cree Nation. Our mission is to create meaningful connections and memorable moments for our community members. Through well-orchestrated events and initiatives, We aim to foster unity, joy and a deep sense of belonging among us. Let us share with you the essence of the Engagement and Coordinator and the impact of our collective efforts.
Event Planning and Collaboration
- Community Celebrations: We are dedicated to planning and managing a diverse array of events that celebrate our culture, achievements, and community spirit. Our goal is to ensure every gathering is not just an event but an experience that enriches our bonds.
- Departmental Collaboration: We work closely with various departments within our nation to support and amplify their events, creating a harmonious and integrated community calendar that reflects our shared values and aspirations.
Digital Connection
- Social Media Engagement: Through regular posts on the Driftpile Cree Nation Facebook page, We keep our community informed, involved, and inspired. From sharing event details to celebrating our successes, our social media channels are a beacon of our vibrant community life.
- Newsletter Contributions: We actively contribute to the Driftpile Cree Nation newsletter, offering updates and stories that highlight our community’s heartbeats, milestones, and the voices of our people.
Facility Coordination
- Booking and Management: We oversee the reservations for our community hall and church addition, ensuring these spaces serve as welcoming venues for our gatherings, ceremonies, and celebrations. Our role includes making these facilities accessible and suited to the needs of our nation’s members.
Youth Empowerment
- Driftpile Cree Nation Youth Council: Leading the Youth Council is one of my proudest responsibilities. I guide our young leaders in building their capacities, engaging in meaningful community service, and having a say in our community’s future. these facilities accessible and suited to the needs of our nation’s members.
