Chief & Council Nomination Meeting – Driftpile Cree Nation

Location: DCN Community Hall
Nomination Meeting Procedures:
You do not need to be present to be nominated, but your nominator and seconder must attend the meeting.
Candidates have until November 7th to accept or withdraw. If no response is received by this date, the nomination will be considered accepted.
Withdrawal is allowed up to Election Day, but after November 7th, your name will still appear on the ballot. If you withdraw on Election Day, the Electoral Officer will announce it, and any votes for you will not be counted.
Eligibility:
Anyone can run for Chief.
Candidates for Councillor must be DCN Band Members and at least 18 years old.
Residency is not a factor – candidates may reside on or off-reserve.
You may run for both Chief and Councillor positions.
