We’re excited to announce that the new 90′ Cellular Tower behind the Driftpile Cree Nation Community Hall at 413 Chiefs Way is now fully operational!
Our Nation has faced challenges with poor cellular service, impacting safety and communication—especially during emergencies such as fires, flooding, or the need to activate an emergency response centre. This new tower aims to improve cellular signal reliability throughout the community and reduce those risks.
With support from Indigenous Services Canada and in partnership with TLC Solutions, the Driftpile Cree Nation has taken a significant step toward ensuring our members stay connected when it matters most.
🔍 What to Expect?
The tower is designed as a tri-pole structure, encased in sheet metal for safety. As we move forward, you should begin to notice improved cellular reception in the area, especially around the community hall.
💼 Health & Safety
The tower installation complies with all federal regulations and Health Canada’s Safety Code 6 guidelines, ensuring it is safe for everyone in the community. If you have any concerns, please feel free to contact the Executive Manager at exec.mgr@dpcn.ca.
Thank you for your patience and support as we worked to address this important issue. Stay safe and stay connected, Driftpile Cree Nation!
